Quickbooks takes your security and data privacy very seriously. As part of our ongoing efforts to safeguard QuickBooks data and improve access controls, they are implementing a few changes in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Payroll that will limit the privileges of non-admin users with standard and custom roles. These changes will not impact the QuickBooks Online Accountant offering.
Starting September 2024, Quickbooks will implementing the following change:
Non-admin users assigned privileges to manage other users will no longer be able to add, edit, and delete admin users. However, they can continue to manage other non-admin users.
Only users with admin roles will be able to add, edit or delete admin users.
You or your clients can manage access in QuickBooks Online by learning more here or watching a video.
